💪 GOAL : The past 9-month Achend spend with his family in a refugee tent, I was invited to stay with his family for the night, it's cold at night and not safe. They had snakes in front of the house but so far not in the tent. Since all is happening around the tent (cooking, shower etc it attracts easily insects, rats and snakes). Achend is worried about the security of his family and want to renovate the house as soon as possible. They lost house of his mother – it totally collapsed due to the earthquake. He was just about to finish his own house when the earthquake came. It is not safe to stay in the hose as it got many cracks they need to remove some parts and fill it up with new bricks and cement. Furthermore, the roof needs to be fixed and they want to build a wall to keep snakes outside.
- 5 mil to fix the cracks in the house
- 3 mil to fix the roof
- 2.5 mil to build a wall to keep the snakes away
Total 10.5 mil needed (745 USD, 710 Euro)
I met Achend 2 years ago when I came across Endri Foundation. He is a photographer and has been involved in community development with Endri Foundation since the start. They are out every day from early in the morning till late at night. He does the whole documentation but is also involved in logistics and knows Lombok inside out. Like many others, he lost his home and is struggling – but still, he finds the energy to help everyone. He needs to rebuild his house but he says he would rather like to earn money. He had a lot of weddings and Photoshoots before (product shots, branding and lifestyle content) but now after the earthquake, this industry is almost not existing. Maybe you need a photographer or know someone that needs someone. (Achend can easily also go to Gillies or Bali if needed). He always used to say – Good things happen to good people. I think this time he will need some help.
